Dibrugarh Boat Clinic Extends Lifeline to Remote Aisung Village: Providing Vital Healthcare Access

On August 23, the Dibrugarh Boat Clinic team made their way to Aisung village for their scheduled health camp. Aisung village is primarily inhabited by the Mising community. Urgently, family members of a patient sought out the team and brought them to their residence. The patient, Moneswari Pao, 54 years old, had recently suffered a cerebral vascular accident, commonly referred to as a stroke. The team promptly provided medical assistance to Moneswari. For these distant river island communities, boat clinics represent the sole healthcare facility available.
