CRG writing fellowships
The Calcutta Research Group, Kolkata, is announcing two research fellowships on issues of Forced Migration in South Asia.
A) TWO SHORT DURATION WRITING FELLOWSHIPS ON FORCED MIGRATION FOR CANDIDATES FROM NEPAL, SRI LANKA OR BANGLADESH
The Mahanirban Calcutta Research Group (CRG) is announcing Two writing fellowships on Forced Migration in South Asia for researchers/activists/journalists working on issues related to forced migration for candidates from Nepal , Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. Interested applicants are requested to email their proposal (not more than one page), mentioning their purpose of work along with their updated C.V and two reference letters by August 13, 2010. The selected candidates are required to work at CRG for seven-ten days and submit a publishable report on their research.They would also be requested to deliver a lecture at CRG on basis on their work.
Candidates have to specify the period of their work, which should be between September 2010 to February 2011, barring 25 November to 18 December 2010.
CRG would organize the travel , accommodation and local hospitality for the selected candidates .
B) TWO SHORT DURATION WRITING FELLOWSHIPS ON FORCED MIGRATION FOR CANDIDATES FROM INDIA
CRG is happy to announce, Two writing fellowships on Forced Migration in South Asia for the researchers/activists/journalists from India who are interested to work on the various aspects of forced migration. The fellowships are given for seven to ten days to work in Nepal, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. Applicants are requested to provide following details:
- The country where they intend to base their research (i.e. Sri Lanka./Bangladesh/Nepal)
- Institutions with which the candidates want to be attached and base their research at the country (i.e. Sri Lanka/Bangladesh/Nepal)
- A proposal (not more than one page), statement of purpose, updated C.V., two reference letters.
The last date of submitting application is 13th August 2010.
