National Disaster Management Authority

Mr Sanjoy Hazarika has been appointed to the Advisory Committee of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of the Government of India. The 12-person committee includes such distinguished figures as Ms. Kumud Bansal, former Secretary, Ministry of HRD, Dr. RK Pachauri, Director General, The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) and Dr. PK Iyengar, former Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission. The Vice Chairman of the Committee is General NC Vij, former Chief of Army Staff.
