Expedition Majuli – Brahmaputra, India, 27 Oct 2018
Johannes van de Ven, Managing Director, Good Energies Foundation, Switzerland along with Harish Hunda, MD of SELCO and Huda Jaffer ( also from SELCO) made a recent visit to Jorhat districts Majuli island and took a trip onboard the Jorhat Boat Clinic “Nahor” as it sailed onwards for a health trip to Bhekeli Island. It needs mention that SELCO has donated Solar panels and Refrigerator for the boat. The visitors also experienced Mising hospitality when they visited the homes on stilts of beneficiaries. This particular island is inhabited by the Mishing tribe.
