Project on Impact of Conflict on Women in Assam and Nagaland
The Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research (C-NES) has signed an agreement with the Heinrich Boll Foundation of Germany to conduct a year-long project on the Impact of Conflict on Women, with a special focus on Assam and Nagaland. This takes forward the work of an earlier research study that C-NES had done on the same theme, with a review of this very issue in Nagaland and Tripura. A two-day workshop was organized to discuss the background, objectives and timeline of the overall project, on 9th November and 10th November 2009 at Shillong, Meghalaya.
