Workshops across India

C-NES is conducting a series of workshops in major metros to impart information about the North East, share perceptions, experiences and challenges and in the process build bridges of understanding between the region and the rest of India.

This is seen as an opportunity for the region to stop complaining about its ‘treatment’ by others and instead reach out strategically, to make an impact and develop better understanding of issues in the NER.

Workshops have already been held at:

  • Chennai (November 11, 2003)
  • Bhopal (March 29, 2004)
  • Pune in April 22/23, 2004
Funds permitting, we propose workshops at the following places: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ranchi and Chandigarh in the rest of 2004 and early 2005.
