Sanjoy Hazarika, Mamang Dai at Jaipur Lit Fest

Sanjoy Hazarika, Managing Trustee, C-NES, will be reading from his books and writing at the Jaipur Literary Festival that kicks off in Jaipur tomorrow.  In addition, he will moderate a discussion with three women authors from the NE tomorrow;  they are Mamang Dai, c-nes advisory council member,  Prof Temsula Ao and Ms.  Anjum Hasan. On 22nd Jan, he and Prof Ao will be in conversation with Ravi Singh, Publisher of Penguin Books India, and read from their writings. The JLF has grown from small beginnings to one of the biggest literary events of the publishing work, involving authors, publishers, film makers, stars and intellectual and literary giants.  Among those who is to attend this year’s event is JF Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, and O. Pamuk, the Nobel Prize winning Turkish writer.
